N.A.

She always believed in true love
Where you'd take care of her heart
You'd keep her safe and sound,
The kind where you'd always be around.

She took a chance on you and she fell
You took the opportunity to play her well
At 17 you chose to mix love with fire
At 15 she had had enough of a liar

It took 13 years to repair what you, so blatantly, crushed
It wasn't her heart, no. It was her faith in mankind.
It took Five boys and some fine wine
How could she trust after being so blind-sided?

Now she sips on tea and his Bacardi
He peered into her soul even when she was a ruthless ho
And saw the little girl inside who still was whole
He did what you didn't. He chose her forever.

So go ahead and dance your life away
The girls you loved surely danced on their wedding days
The next time you come around asking me why,
I ignored you all the past times,
Think of this hand written note of mine.

Reconstruction and Remission
